Today the weather is cold and dreary and I’m reflecting on how a couple of weeks ago I said I was going to be doing a series for this blog…I still am going to be doing the series. I’m working on the research because I want the message to be correct. The Lord knows my heart and will give me the words to help others know they are seen and loved by Him!
It did not get missed on me that shortly after making that declaration things started happening in our family. Unexpected distractions to delay progress and shifted my focus. Not my focus on God, but focus to sit and write the words. Frustrating to say the least. One thing I know to do is continue to pray through and manage my time better. Lean in and be consistent, even if the content isn’t exactly what I want it to be.
Friends, if you are in a season of sometimes it just be that way, don’t camp out there. Brush it off. Get back up. Get back to it. Even if it’s just baby steps. Recalculate and redirect if necessary.
